
I had no idea what to call this dish. I think I was going to cook something Polish, well it was supposed to be Bigos. I was supposed to use Sauerkraut, but didn't have any, so I used gherkins instead. I used pork, shredded cabbages, leek. I didn't have any while mushrooms, smoked sausages, prunes either, so I just skipped them. I did use bay leaf and allspice though. It was a spontaneous decision to cook this, but I should've planned it. I haven't tried making it properly since. I would like to try real Bigos as I've never tried any Polish food.
