Serves 4
4 pork spare rib steaks
1 clove garlic crashed
Sauce
5 tbsp marmalade
3 tbsp soy sauce
5 tbsp Japanese/Chinese cooking sake (or dry sherry)
- In a pre-heated frying pan or flameproof casserole, add a little oil, garlic and the steaks.
- Fry until browned on both sides.
- Add the sauce and bring to the boil.
- Reduce the heat and cook until the sauce thickens.
*Alternatively, you can use chicken instead of pork.
